The Apt Valet does NOT provide a trash can or receptacle. You will need to use your own personal trash bin or bags. Most residents use a standard kitchen trash can (13-gallon) that they place outside their door on pickup days.

Get Your Own Trash Bin
The valet trash service does NOT provide a trash can. You'll need to use your own personal trash bin or bag.
- Use a small kitchen trash can with a lid
- 13-gallon bags work great
- Make sure it's not too heavy to carry
Receive Your Reminder
Before each scheduled pickup, you'll receive an automatic Telegram notification reminding you to put your trash out.
- Reminders are sent based on your preferred timing
- You can customize to 1 hour, 2 hours, or night before
- Make sure Telegram notifications are enabled on your phone
Put Your Trash Out
When you get the reminder, take your trash bin to the designated pickup area outside your door.
- Place trash outside your apartment door
- Check your property's specific pickup location
- Don't block walkways or doorways
Valet Collects Your Trash
The valet trash team will come by during the scheduled pickup window and collect your trash.
- Pickup times vary by property
- Your empty bin will be left at your door
- Repeat for every scheduled pickup day

Missed Pickup
If you miss the pickup window, you'll need to take your trash to the dumpster yourself until the next scheduled day.
Large Items
Valet trash is for regular household trash only. Large items, furniture, or hazardous materials are not accepted.
